Family of League
Since 2002, the Family of League Foundation (formally know as Men of League) has been there to support the men, women and children of the rugby league family who have fallen on hard times.
Initially established by Ron Coote, Jim Hall and Max Brown to provide emotional support to former First Grade players the Foundation has evolved to assist those who have made a genuine and authentic contribution at all levels of the game. The Foundation provides over 1 million dollars in grant funding per year and completes over 1200 hours in visits to aged care facilities, hospitals and homes across Australia.
Sydney Roosters respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
