Jack Gibson Medal Award
Awarded to the Sydney Roosters' Player of the Year, the Jack Gibson Medal is voted at the conclusion of every game by the Roosters NRL team and Head Coach, with votes tallied across the season, and has been awarded since 1995.
The award is named in honour of Jack Gibson, who played over 100 matches for the Club between 1953-1961 and is regarded as one of the greatest coaches in Rugby League history, guiding the back-to-back Premiership winning sides of 1974-1975.
