Player Awards and Achievements
Along with the Club's numerous accolades, a number of players have been recognised for their individual achievements through the season, including Dally M Medal Awards, Rothmans Medallists, Clive Churchill Medallists, Golden Boot Awards, as well as Rugby League Hall of Fame members and Immortals.
Dally M Medallists
Introduced in 1979, the Dally M Medal is crowned to the NRL's Player of the Year award, with three Roosters claiming the NRL award; New Zealand Halfback Gary Freeman in 1992, mercurial five-eighth Todd Carney in 2010 and scintillating fullback James Tedesco in 2019 en route to the Club's 15th Premiership.
In 2022, Raecene McGregor became the Club's first NRLW player to be named the Dally M Player of the Year after a stunning season which saw her guide the Tricolours to an undefeated regular season record.
The award is appropriately named after Club great Herbert Henry 'Dally' Messenger, dubbed as one of the game's inaugural superstars.

Rothmans Medallists
The first official Player of the Year award in the NSWRL, the Rothmans Medal was introduced in 1968 before being discontinued in 1996 with the Dally M Medal becoming the primary award.
Voted by referees throughout the season, three Roosters have claimed the medal since its inception; representative halfback Kevin Junee in 1970, fan favourite competitor Kevin Hastings in 1981 and point-scoring sensation Mike Eden in 1983. Mercurial five-eighth and captain Brad Fittler was awarded the Nokia Provan-Summons Medal in 1997, which replaced the Rothmans Medal for that season.

Clive Churchill Medallists
Awarded to the best player on Grand Final day, the Clive Churchill Medal (introduced in 1986) has been claimed by four men in Red, White and Blue - two in the 20th century and two in the 21st.
In the code's centenary in 2008, the Clive Churchill Medal was awarded retrospectively for Grand Finals from 1954 - the season Grand Finals became mandatory - to 1985, with Arthur Beetson and Ian Schubert claiming man of the match honours in 1974 and 1975 respectively.
Hard running backrower Craig Fitzgibbon's stirring performance in the 2002 triumph earned him the award, with Luke Keary being the most recent recipient after a dominant display against the Melbourne Storm in 2018.

Golden Boot Award
The Golden Boot Award is given to the best player judged at both club and international level on an annual basis since 1984.
Six Roosters have claimed the award since its inception; Kiwi forward and Roosters captain Hugh McGahan in 1987, superstar five-eighth Brad Fittler following the Kangaroos' World Cup victory in 2000, electric fullback Anthony Minichiello and in 2018 the first Women's Golden Boot winner centre Isabelle Kelly, as well as dual winners Joseph Manu and Raecene McGregor in 2022.

Rugby League Hall of Fame Members
Introduced in 2002, the Rugby League Hall of Fame honours the code's greatest players since its inaugural season in 1908.
Twenty-four of the Tricolours finest premiership-winners, state and international champions have been honoured in the Rugby League Hall of Fame, from Dally Messenger to Dave Brown, Arthur Beetson to Brad Fittler and more recently Jack Gibson (Coach) and John Quayle (Administration).

Rugby League Immortals
Of the thousands of players who have played top-grade Rugby League in Australia, only thirteen can be considered at the highest echelon - The Immortals.
Of those thirteen, four have played with distinction for the Red, White and Blue and all four captained the Club; Dally Messenger, Dave Brown, Arthur Beetson and Bob Fulton - the most of any Club.
