The Roosters have had so many outstanding contributors and here we profile the very best to have played prop forward for the Club. Only those with an exceptional Club career, with a minimum of five seasons of first grade with the Club, that have retired from the game, are profiled here. Retirees with a minimum of 150 first grade Club games and/or ten seasons of first grade with the Club are all included.

Up to seven players from each position (up to fourteen for dual positions) plus up to seven utility players and two coaches (maximum of 100 male Club greats), that retired from the game in Australia prior to the end of the 2027 season (first 120 seasons of the Roosters), are profiled in this section. A few spots are being kept open (within that 100) for current players (or former players now playing in Europe) who may retire prior to the commencement of the 2028 season. If those retirements do not eventuate in this time frame, the spot will be filled by one who has retired, so there will be exactly 100 Club greats profiled who retired prior to the commencement of the 2028 season. A player will only appear in one positional category, even though they may have played multiple positions at the Club.

As players and coaches, with a minimum of five seasons of first grade with the Club, from 2028 onward, retire from the game, profiles of those identified as Club greats, meeting the criteria detailed above, will be added to the initial 100.
