Some great individual efforts, and impressive attacking plays have seen the young Triolours run out 48-26 winners over the Dragons at WIN Jubilee.

A hat-trick to fullback Nene Macdonald ensured the victory as the young fullback ran the Dragons defence riot.

With some massive forwards the Dragons made the Tricolours work hard in defence and it wasn't always easy with the home side running in 26 points.

In the end it came down to a great deal of determination and some spectacular individual efforts that got the Bondi boys home.

The young Tricolours looked on from the very first whistle and two early tries paid testament to that.

A strong effort from Jack Noble and a simple show and go from halfback Tyler Cornish had the visitors in front by twelve.

Shaquille Blair looked unstoppable minutes later when he stormed over to extend the lead to three converted tries.

The home side then clawed one back when a clever short ball saw Wesley Lolo steam over the line.

Minutes after spending a few minutes down injured, hooker Alex Thomas recovered well to wrestle his way over and further extend the lead.

Desperate to stay in the contest the home side lifted another gear late in the first half, laying on two quick tries to trail by eight at the break.

A hostile end to the first half continued in the second with both sides ripping in to each other.

It wasn't easy but after a tough grind the Tricolours laid on two quick tries including a great leap out wide from fullback Nene Macdonald.

The next ten minutes wouldn't have pleased the coach as the Dragons worked their way back in to the encounter with two solid tries.

Lucky for the visitors, Macdonald stamped his authority on the match, scoring two late tries to seal the hat-trick and ensure the victory.
