It's do or die now in the Holden Cup as the young Tricolours take on the Warriors with the winner handed a spot in the Grand Final Qualifier, the loser reflecting on the season that was.

The 6th placed Warriors come in to this clash on the back or a tough 20-18 victory over the 7th placed Rabbitohs, the Tricolours a tough loss at the hands of competition favourites the Penrith Panthers.

Despite the blow out score the Roosters were level with the Panthers with only twenty minutes to go before fading away in the dying stages, a mistake you can be sure they won't repeat this Friday afternoon.

The Warriors delivered under pressure last weekend and eventually won over the Souths pack with some strong carries and excellent scramble defence.

Another talking point was the Warriors willingness to spread the ball wide early and the Tricolours will have to be on top of their game to make sure they shut down the potent Kiwi back line.

In the head to head battle the Tricolours have already beaten the visitors twice this season, and will no doubt draw plenty of confidence from that.

A number of the Roosters boys have really started to fire at the end of their Holden Cup careers and will be fired up to make sure the journey doesn't end this Friday afternoon.

Clarrie Moore and Braeden Uele have not been named by Coach Paul Green, with Bradley Dietz and back rower Jack Noble named as their replacements.
