It's a well known fact that the Tricolours have a number of loyal and passionate fans in South East Queensland so it is with great delight this year that the red, white and blues will be playing a game in Brisbane against the Broncos in round three at Suncorp Stadium.
Having not played a regular season game at the venue since 2010 one Roosters player who is equally as excited at returning as some of our great Members in the region, is proud Queenslander Jake Friend.
"Personally it's great for me not only to play in front of some family and friends but also to be throwing on the jersey in front of our many Members in the area," Friend said.
"It's one of the first things I check when I see the draw come out so I am really pumped to run out there against the Broncos and hopefully put on a show for our Members in the area who show a great passion for the club by committing each and every year."

Adding further spice to the match the Roosters will also be taking on former team mate Martin Kennedy for the very first time.
The match against the Broncos will take place on Friday the 21st of March at 7:45 pm.
The Tricolours will again be travelling to Queensland later in the year when the club takes on the Cowboys in Townsville in a bumper round ten clash.
