The Sydney Roosters conceded three late tries to go down 32-24 to Manly at Brookvale Oval.

Despite leading for the majority of the encounter the visitors switched off in the final fifteen minutes allowing the home side to run away with the victory.

Tyler Cornish opened the scoring when he muscled over early on but as the Eagles did all night they fought back with a strong try out wide.

Showing the sheer speed and strength we have come to expect, Taane Milne was presented a one on one opportunity close to the line and he made it look like he was cruising as he strolled over for our second.

Clearly showing benefits from his two NRL appearances Macdonald picked up the ball from dummy half and wrestled over to extend the lead.

Manly hit back with two well executed tries but a nice forty twenty from Jackson Hastings shifted the momentum back to the visitors.

A quick tap and simple step and Cornish was over for his second to again secure a comfortable barrier for the Tricolours.

It was there that the visitors switched off allowing Manly to run in three late tries to secure a deserved victory.
