Sam Moa has today withdrawn from the NZRL Squad ahead of the upcoming Four Nations tournament, due to a family illness, and has been replaced by West Tigers forward Bodene Thompson.

Moa's withdrawal sees Shaun Kenny-Dowall remain as the only Roosters player in the Kiwi Squad, following pre-tournament withdrawals from Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck also.

In addition, hard-hitting backrower Frank-Paul Nuuausala was also not considered due to injury.

The Kiwis open their Four Nations account against Australia at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium, October 25.
