Roosters TV caught up with James Maloney at the NRL's Auckland Nines Jersey Launch earlier today to chat with the superstar playmaker about the second installment of the nine-a-side tournament begining on 31 January at Eden Park.
Along with discussing the concept, Maloney also opens up on his excitement at hopefully being involved the fun-filled tournament and the differences in play between the short form of the game and thirteen a side action.
Maloney also discusses former home Auckland, the new-look jersey and kit - including the short sleeves some other Clubs are trialling - plus get his thoughts on who from the current Squad is built for the Nines.
