Trent Robinson has named an unchanged side to the one that overcame the North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville on Saturday night for this weekend's Round 2 clash with the reigning Premiers, the South Sydney Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium.

The Roosters Head Coach has opted to stick with the Squad that kicked off their 2015 campaign in style with a twenty-four point, 28-4, victory over the Paul Green coached Cowboys in an energised display in just the first game of the new season.

After making their Club debuts in the win Blake Ferguson, Matt McIlwrick and Siua Taukeiaho all retain their spot in the side after impressive first-up displays in the Tricolours.

In addition, Isaac Liu has again won the race to the No.13 shirt after Robinson surprised many by naming the Samoan lock to start last weekend. Liu now seems the most likely to continue in the role vacated by Frank-Paul Nuuausala following his Off-Season move to Canberra Raiders.

Both sides will head into the clash in the unusual position of having already opened their season, with the traditional Round 1 local derby the usual start to the NRL's year. The Teams will also each be searching for their second victory following the Rabbitohs Round 1 away win over the Brisbane Broncos last Thursday night.

After crossing for the Bondi Club's first try of 2015 last Saturday night, NSW winger Daniel Tupou will play his 50th NRL and Roosters match on Sunday afternoon after making his debut in Round 24 of 2012 against the Raiders.
