Sam Moa addressed the media ahead of the Roosters Round 6 clash with the South Sydney Rabbitohs on Friday night.

He discussed the loss to the Warriors on Sunday, the Round 6 clash with the Rabbitohs and more.

The Roosters have been an improving side over the last couple of Rounds, and Moa knows the side is almost there.

"It's tough, but I think we're extremely close," he said to the media on Monday morning.

"All we need is a game or two to win and change the confidence," he added.

It's still early in the season and Moa just wants to take it one game at a time.

"To be fair, we're not thinking of any consecutive games to win on the trot.

"We're thinking about a game to start that.

"We've been doing everything right at training.

"It's a funny thing football, you just need to get a few things go your way in the game and try hard.

"Hopefully after that first win, we can get the ball rolling."
