As part of the Sydney Roosters Reconciliation Action Plan, the Club has formalised a relationship with the Sydney Indigenous Academy Under 18 Women's Tarsha Gale team.
Effective from the 2018 season, the team will be named the 'Sydney Roosters Indigenous Academy'.
Football Partnerships and Programs Manager Craig Walker was thrilled with the announcement that has been in the making for 18 months.
"The Sydney Indigenous Academy does a fantastic job at getting Indigenous females involved with rugby league and it's something that we're very proud to be a part of," Walker said.

Roosters CEO Joe Kelly said that the Club is proud to be involved with the team.
"We will ensure that this team is not only embedded in the fabric of the Roosters, but that it will also have a bright future with many other opportunities for the women who now wear the Roosters colours."
