Wyong Roos Fall In Tough Match

The Wyong Roos put on a disappointing showing at Central Coast Stadium on Saturday afternoon, going down 36-6 to the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles.

It didn’t take long for the Wyong Roos to kick into gear, scoring the opening try within the opening five minutes through Lindsay Collins between the uprights.

The epic battle of big boppers continued, only this time it was the Sea Eagles to barge over through prop Lloyd Perrett.

Their momentum continued on into the following set when they scored through centre Brad Parker to push their lead out to a converted try.

Sea Eagles five eighth Tom Wright managed to split the defence and offload inside to fullback Honeti Tuha to make it a twelve point game near the half time siren.

The Second half kicked off the way it first half finished through some crafty left edge play from the Sea Eagles to extend the lead.

Honeti Tuha went on to collect a double, while Joey Lussick closed the game with a try to make it a big win for the Sea Eagles.
