The Sydney Roosters were on the Central Coast on Saturday night for their final trial match of the pre-season against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles.
The weather was hot and muggy in Gosford which led to all three grades requiring a drinks break midway through each half of football played.
It was the first hit-out for the majority of the Roosters squad, so as expected there were plenty of sore bodies and bruises at the conclusion of a physical battle against a big Sea Eagles pack.
Other than the win, the good news to come from the match is that all players that took to the field left Central Coast Stadium without any injury concerns.
All players that took to the field are currently available for selection next week when the Roosters take on the Wests Tigers in Round 1 of the NRL Telstra Premiership.
