Ahead of tomorrow night's clash with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Head Coach Trent Robinson fronted the media to discuss a number of topics.
Trent Robinson Talks Bulldogs
He touched on last week's match, what needs to be done this week, an update on Luke Keary and more.
When discussing exactly what went wrong last week, Robinson said it was a result of not asking enough questions of the Wests Tigers defence.
"We didn’t ask enough questions," he said.
"We rolled forward, but we didn’t ask enough questions on the back of that and we need to see that tomorrow."
With some new faces in that make up a new spine, there are some combinations that need to be ironed out before the team really starts to click into gear.
When asked how long that could take, Robinson was certain that it's not far away.
"I’m quite bullish about it not taking too long.
"We didn’t see enough of it on Saturday, but I don’t think it’s going to take a year to get that either.
"You’re going to have to spend some time in an NRL game for eighty minutes to see that as well.
"You train against yourself, you play some trials, but we need sharp improvement on what we did on Saturday night and if we get that improvement that we want to see, then it shouldn’t be too long."
We want to make an improvement for tomorrow night, that’s for sure
