Head Coach Trent Robinson has named a Sydney Roosters debutant this week in his 21 man squad to face the Newcastle Knights on Sunday night.

With Daniel Tupou being ruled out for several weeks due to injury, Reece Robinson looks set to get his first start with the Roosters on the wing outside Latrell Mitchell.

After a sensational performance last week, Dylan Napa gets promoted to the starting line-up and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves shuffles out to the bench. 

Ryan Matterson was named as a late starter in the second row against the Bulldogs and will once again get the start this week.

New recruit Kurt Baptiste has been named on the extended bench alongside Frank-Paul Nuuausala.
