The Sydney Roosters are pleased to announce that the Club has entered into a collaborative agreement with Touch Football South Australia (TFSA).

The two organisations will collaborate to help grow both rugby league and touch football in South Australia.

TFSA State Manager Anthony Jennings is excited about the touch football state body aligning with the Roosters.

"It's a fantastic opportunity to align TFSA with an organisation that's committed to growing both rugby league and touch football," said Jennings.

"With South Australia not having a local professional club that competes in the National Rugby League, it is exciting to be able to collaborate with the Roosters to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes," he added.

This agreement complements the current relationship Touch Football Victoria has with the Melbourne Storm and Touch Football ACT with the Canberra Raiders. Yet this new agreement is the first of its kind, in terms of alignment between a touch football state body and a professional NRL club that is not based in the same region.

Sydney Roosters Chief Operating Officer Jarrod Johnstone is also excited about the opportunities created by the agreement.

"The Sydney Roosters are already aligned with our local touch football association in Sydney, the Eastern Suburbs Touch Association, so being able to expand that type of relationship into South Australia by working with TFSA will be fantastic, particularly leading into our upcoming match Adelaide Oval next month," said Johnstone.

The Roosters will host the Melbourne Storm at Adelaide Oval on Friday, 29 June, with tickets available for pre-purchase via Ticketek.
