Sydney Roosters medical staff have assessed the squad following Saturday's Round 14 match against the Newcastle Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium.

Captain Boyd Cordner was a late withdrawal from the match due to his involvement with the New South Wales Blues in last Wednesday's State Of Origin I.

The Club elected to rest him for precautionary reasons and with the extra recovery days, it is expected that he'll be 100% fit ahead of our Round 15 match against the Penrith Panthers at Allianz Stadium on Friday night.

All 17 men that took to the field in Round 14 made it through 80 minutes without injury concern and will be available for selection against the Panthers.
