Sydney Roosters Major Partner, Steggles, will again mark Women In League Round by celebrating the True Legends of the game.

When the Roosters run out in Round 22 against the South Sydney Rabbitohs, they will do so without the iconic Steggles logo on the front of their jersey.

The logo will be replaced with the name of a female who has played a significant role in the player's life.

This is the second successive season that Steggles have relinquished their naming rights to enable the players to pay tribute to a significant female in their lives.

Among those selected to be honoured by the Roosters players are their mother, grandmother, wife, partner or daughter.

See below the emotional moment when Roosters fullback James Tedesco revealed to his mother Rosemary that he would be running out in a jersey emblazoned with her name.
