On the back of the signing of a Major Partner and several Platinum and Premier Partners, the Sydney Roosters Women's Rugby League team has been further supported with fourteen Player Sponsors committing their support to the Club for the inaugural season.
Player Sponsorship of the men's team has been sold out for the past three seasons so it is no surprise to see that sponsorship of the women's team has also been very popular.
Indeed, many of the corporate partners of the Sydney Roosters men's team have thrown their support behind the women, with nine of the fourteen women's player partnerships held by current men's player sponsors.
Clearwater Plumbing, Marrickville Prestige Smash Repairs, Fit Services & RadioHub, Select Music, Fusion Shutters & Blinds, Mayne Global, Flash Freight and Randwick City Council are the current men's Player Partners to also sponsor a female player.
Great Aussie BBQ, Premier Catering Supplies, Doughboy Pizza, SportsAce and Polarbare Club Cryotherapy have all come on board as foundation Player Partners of the women's team.
Sydney Roosters Commercial Partnerships Manager, Patrick Brown, said that the transition of support across both teams speaks volumes of the genuine passion that the Roosters' corporate partners have for the Club.
'We were approached by a number of our current group of partners who were very enthusiastic about becoming foundation partners of the women's team, so we decided to replicate the traditionally popular Player Partner program with the women's team' he said.
'It is great to know that our core group of partners are passionate about the Club across both teams, and to experience the corporate support that we have in the first season of the Women's Rugby League is very pleasing.'
