2018 was another busy and successful year for our Roosters Girls!
Not only did our girls demonstrate a high caliber of exciting and thrilling entertainment throughout the season, they were also highly active in the community.
Highlights of the year include travelling to home games held on the Central Coast and in Adelaide, as well as sharing the Roosters Club culture throughout many community events such as the Randwick Spot Festival, Bondi Nippers, Clovelly Nippers and School fetes to name a few.
The Roosters Girls were also a big hit at the Roosters Holiday Camps where they engaged with mini fans and ran popular dance workshops!
In mid-November the Roosters Girls held their annual auditions, giving the chance for new members to join our already elite and highly professional squad.
Over 70 dancers applied and attended the highly competitive auditions.
As the girls learnt the choreography, it was evident that it wasn't going to be an easy decision for the selection panel.
After the first round, the decision was made to make a cut from 70 girls to only 40.
During the second round of auditions, the applicants demonstrated a very high level of dance ability and showed off their pirouettes and acrobatics.
After an intense 3.5-hour audition process and many nervous applicants, the squad was decided with 24 girls securing a position on our 2019 Roosters Girls squad.
A huge congratulations to our returning members from 2018 -
