Following the Sydney Roosters Round 1 match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at the Sydney Cricket Ground, Latrell Mitchell has been cited by the NRL Match Review Committee.
Mitchell received a Grade 1 Careless High Tackle charge for an incident that occurred in the 55th minute of the match on Rabbitohs player Sam Burgess.
The base penalty for the charge is a monetary fine of $1,500.
The Club has elected to enter an early guilty plea, which will see Mitchell receive a $1,600 fine (20% loading added for non-similar offences in the last two years).
Mitchell will be available for selection in the Roosters Round 2 match against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at Lottoland.
