Sydney Roosters Head Coach Trent Robinson was awarded with the great honour of Life Membership at the Club last week after receiving a unanimous nomination.
Robinson Receives Life Membership
Robinson attended the Football Club Annual General Meeting where fellow Life Members discussed their nomination of the Head Coach, including Board Member Mark Bouris AM and Roosters Legend Brad Fittler.
Fittler reflected on Robinson's journey so far as Head Coach of the Roosters and the great journey leading up to it, while Bouris AM discussed the board's view of him as a Coach and also as a man.
Robinson spoke of the honour of receiving Life Membership after he was handed his Membership pin by Chairman Nick Politis AM in front of the Club's Life Members.
"It's an incredible honour," Robinson said after receiving Life Membership.
"It's allowed me to reflect on the journey that it's been and the work we've put in and it also makes you strive for more," he added.
Trent was appointed Head Coach in 2013 and led the Sydney Roosters to Premiership success in his maiden season as an NRL Head Coach.
Widely-regarded as one of the game’s most progressive and astute coaches, Trent has also pioneered the foundation of a Coaches Union and is signed to the Roosters until the conclusion of the 2022 NRL season.
