The Roosters were hot starters for their first home game of the season, scoring three unanswered tries in the first half to take a commanding lead.
James Tedesco and Cooper Cronk both scored their first points as Roosters after dazzling displays in their first outing in front of a Roosters home crowd.
They went back and forth in the second, but ultimately the Roosters walked away with their first 2018 win and showed plenty of promise to kick off their home campaign.
