After missing twelve NRL games in the 2019 season, Brett Morris was able to put together a near full season for the Roosters in 2020 and reaped the rewards that come with hard work on the training paddock.
To put in simply, Morris was outstanding in 2020 for a multitude of reasons.
When the season restarted in Round 3, Morris came back looking refreshed and in career best form for the Roosters and the rugby league community quickly took notice.
His highlight reel just kept growing throughout the year and his effort standing in at fullback when required provided some of his finest work throughout the year.
Morris led the way in terms of Fan Voted Man Of The Match nods with four masterclass performances wearing the Tricolours, edging out James Tedeco by one round and showing his colours as a true champion of the game in his 15th season playing first grade.
He scored a hat-trick in Round 7 against the Dragons, and had a double on two separate occasions throughout the year.
At the conclusion of the season, he was named in the RLPA Players' Dream Team on the wing.
Morris is set to lace up the boots again in 2021 for his third season with the Club.
