Roosters reveal draw for 2021 season

The Sydney Roosters are pleased to reveal the official draw for the upcoming 2021 NRL Telstra Premiership season.

From a round 1 blockbuster with the Sea Eagles right through to a round 25 interstate battle with the Canberra Raiders, there's plenty to look forward to for Club Members and fans in 2021.

As opposed to last year's shortened 20 round season, 2021 will see the NRL regular season return to a 25 round format.

"There's a lot to look forward to for the upcoming NRL season, especially for the loyal and passionate Members of our great Club," said CEO Joe Kelly when discussing the NRL Draw.

"After a challenging year in 2020, we're excited to get back on track and with today's draw announcement we can continue planning for another big season."

The Roosters will kick off their campaign on a Saturday 5:30pm slot, giving fans a top quality showing for their first outing of the year.

In total, there will be nine matches contested at the SCG, which includes three consecutive mouth-watering encounters from Round 19 to 21.

The traditional Anzac Day fixture against the St George Illawarra Dragons will return in 2021 at the SCG and will be a Roosters home game.

Our annual Central Coast Stadium home game will be a Saturday night round 5 clash with the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks. It will be the first Roosters NRL match to be played at night on the Central Coast since 2012.

As was initially planned for 2020, the Roosters will take a home game against the Canberra Raiders to Perth's HBF Park in round 12.

Four matches of the season will be taken to Queensland, including two matches (one for Magic Round) at Suncorp Stadium, one at Queensland Country Bank Stadium against the Cowboys and a return to CBUS Stadium for the first time since 2018.

The team will also take on the defending Premiers Melbourne Storm at AAMI Park in Melbourne for what's bound to be a memorable encounter in Round 6.

Our Country and Interstate fans can enjoy the rewards of Club Membership when we travel to Newcastle, Brisbane, North Queensland, Gold Coast, Perth, Melbourne and Canberra for just $11 per month.
