The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce the line up for the Round 7 Anzac Day Cup match against the St George Illawarra Dragons on Sunday afternoon at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

The Roosters and Dragons will play the 20th Annual Anzac Day clash, with the two clubs having competed for the Anzac Day Cup since 2002 in what is revered as one of the biggest days on the Rugby League calendar.

The Roosters will be commemorating the Eastern Suburbs sides of 1944-1946 by donning the Bondi Blue coloured Wartime Jersey, who were forced to abandon the famous Tricolours design as a result of wartime rationing with the 1945 side claiming the Club's ninth Premiership.

The day will also feature a curtain-raising Anzac Day Commemorative Test Match between the Australian Defence Forces and the Turkish Rugby League, in a first for the Anzac Day clash, which will kick-off at 1:50pm.

A number of changes have been made to Trent Robinson's line up, most notably with Sam Verrills returning to the no.9 jersey after sustaining an ACL injury in mid-2020.

Brett Morris also returns to the line up after being a late omission to the Round 6 match against the Storm, while Siosiua Taukeiaho and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves have been named after being cleared of any injury concerns after the match.

Isaac Liu packs down in the front row alongside Verrills and Taukeiaho, with the forward pack rounded off by Angus Crichton, Sitili Tupouniua and Victor Radley.

Ben Marschke returns to the interchange bench that will pack plenty of bunch with Waerea-Hargeaves as well as Lindsay Collins and Nat Butcher.

The quartet of Fletcher Baker, Matt Ikuvalu, Egan Butcher and Tuku Hau Tapuha make up Robinson's extended bench.
