The Sydney Roosters have elected to enter early guilty pleas in relation to the Grade One Shoulder Charge on Sitili Tupouniua and the Grade One Dangerous Contact (Other) charge on Matt Ikuvalu.
As a result, Tupouniua will be unavailable for selection in the Roosters' Round 9 match against the Parramatta Eels. Ikuvalu has accepted a monetary fine of $1700 and will be available for selection against the Eels.

Following the Sydney Roosters Round 8 match against the Newcastle Knights, both Sitili Tupouniua and Matt Ikuvalu have been cited by the NRL Match Review Committee.
Tupouniua was charged with a Grade One Shoulder Charge resulting from an incident in the 28th minute of the match.
The charge carries a base of 200 points. Should the Club elect to enter an early plea, Tupouniua will receive 150 points and be unavailable for one match. If found guilty at the panel, Tupouniua will be suspended for two matches.
Ikuvalu was charged with a Grade One Dangerous Contact (Other) resulting from an incident in the 72nd minute of the match.
He will receive a monetary fine of $1700 with an early plea. Should the Club elect to contest the charge and be found guilty at panel, Ikuvalu will be fined $2250.
The Club has until Monday at 12pm to enter their plea.
