The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce the Round 15 line up to take on the Penrith Panthers at 7:55pm on Friday night at Panthers Stadium.

After a heart-stopping victory over the Gold Coast Titans in Round 14, the Roosters have one of the toughest road trips in the competition when they travel to Penrith in what will undoubtedly be a blockbuster against the second-placed Panthers.

Young back rower Sitili Tupouniua is set to play his 50th NRL match on Friday night, having played his entire first-grade career so far in the Red, White and Blue, while James Tedesco, Sam Verrills and Siosiua Taukeiaho return to the line up in a much-welcomed boost to Trent Robinson's side.

Roosters Members and supporters will be treated to a double-header on Friday night as the Sydney Roosters Jersey Flegg side play the Penrith Panthers at 5:45pm, so be sure to get in early and support the stars of the future!

Roosters Legend Brad Fittler and current star Luke Keary will be at Kingswood Sports Club for a pre-game event starting at 5pm. You can get more information on the event here in Your Gameplan for Round 15.

Round 15 also marks the NRL's Beanie for Brain Cancer Round in support of the Mark Hughes Foundation. Roosters Members and supporters are encouraged to support the foundation by purchasing a beanie either at the game or online, or donating via markhughesfoundation.com.au.

Trent Robinson has made a number of changes to the side that defeated the Gold Coast Titans in Round 14.

Captain James Tedesco makes a welcomed return, shifting Joseph Manu to the centres, while Daniel Tupou, Josh Morris and Matt Ikuvalu make up the remainder of the backline.

Lachlan Lam and Sam Walker pair up once again in the halves, while Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Adam Keighran and Siosiua Taukeiaho pack down in the front row. Angus Crichton and Sitili Tupouniua line up in the second row as Isaac Liu locks up the scrum to round off the starting side.

Sam Verrills, Egan Butcher, Daniel Suluka-Fifita and Fletcher Baker have been named on the interchange bench, while Tuku Hau Tapuha, Ben Thomas, Billy Smith and Joseph Suaalii round off the extended bench.

Friday night marks the 100th meeting between the Sydney Roosters and Penrith Panthers since 1967, the year the Panthers entered the competition.

The Tricolours have a 61% winning record against their opponents, with 60 wins, 38 losses and one solitary draw going back to 1967.

Penrith, however, has had bragging rights in the last two contests, with the Roosters' last win coming in Round 24, 2019 with a 22-6 victory en route to the Premiership, although the sides have three wins each in the last six encounters.

In recent weeks the Roosters have found some momentum heading into the second half of the season with wins over the Raiders and Titans, while the Panthers have suffered back-to-back defeats during the early stages of the State of Origin period.

Be sure to grab your tickets here, meet some Roosters royalty at Kingswood Sports Club, cheer on the Jersey Flegg boys pre-game and get pumped to see your Roosters in action for this Friday night blockbuster!
