We review our weekend's win in Round 18, along with our upcoming clash against the Cowboys this weekend and of course we talk all things State of Origin.

Smith opened up on his injury battles and cited the positive environment at the Club with the likes of James Tedesco and Boyd Cordner while he was on the sidelines.

"I've actually been really lucky," he stated.

"I've been surrounded by some guys who've gone through similar stories. Obviously, Teddy is a big one, he is a good mate of mine. He is a big one for me. He battled through a few injuries in his debut year.

"And obviously, Boyd Cordner is another great example. But I guess it's just perseverance. You just got to put one foot in front of the other and trust the process and trust that hard work will get you to your goal. And I guess that's kind of kept me in line for the last two years.

"It is not easy by any means. There are always days where you kind of doubt yourself but the love for the game always keeps you on the right path."
