Drew Hutchison - who has taken the reigns at five-eighth - will line up alongside Sam Walker in the halves, while the front row comprises of Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Isaac Liu. Angus Crichton and Sitili Tupouniua have been named in the second row, with Victor Radley in the no.13 jersey.

Sam Verrills will steer the forward pack at hooker, after citing a desire to take hold of the no.9 jersey on a long-term basis.

On the interchange, Lachlan Lam will reprise his role as utility alongside brothers Nat and Egan Butcher, who are joined by hulking front rower Siosiua Taukeiaho, who returns to the side after being omitted last week.

Adam Keighran, Fletcher Baker, Josh Morris and Ben Thomas have been named on the extended bench.

Eastern Suburbs and Newcastle meet for the 58th time in their 34-year-long rivalry on Friday night, which will be the first time the teams clash outside of New South Wales, having previously held matches in Sydney, Newcastle and Gosford.

The Roosters hold the upper hand when it comes to results between the two Clubs, with 35 wins from 57 matches at a 61% success rate.

Recent history has gone the way of the Tricolours as well, with only a solitary loss in the last ten encounters going back to the beginning of 2015. Victories in the last three matches have seen the Roosters come away with an average scoreline of 43-9.

Roosters Members and fans in southeast Queensland looking to cheer on the mighty Red, White and Blue will be able to purchase their tickets here.

We ask that you please check your tickets when arriving as you will only be allowed to be permitted through your allocated gate, and will be unable to move between zones at the stadium.
