The battle between State of Origin fullbacks James Tedesco and Kalyn Ponga will be one of several exciting match ups when Sydney Roosters host Newcastle Knights at Sunshine Coast Stadium.
The match will be the Club’s first game for competition points on the Sunshine Coast, and the Roosters will be looking to extend a three-game winning streak in head-to-head battles against the Knights.
Here are all the details you need to prepare for Friday’s match, which will kick off at 6pm AEST, with gates opening at 4:30pm AEST.
TICKETING INFORMATION
Please check your tickets when arriving as you will only be allowed to be permitted through your allocated gate, and cannot move between zones at the stadium.
SUNSHINE COAST STADIUM
Sunshine Coast Stadium is just over an hour drive north of Brisbane, and spectators to give themselves plenty of time to travel to the stadium so you don’t miss kick-off! There are a number of parking options near Sunshine Coast Stadium, and Taxi and Uber services are available.
There are also Translink bus routes (600 and 602) that stop on Nicklin Way, which is within walking distance of the stadium. To find your way to Sunshine Coast Stadium via public transport, visit the TransLink website.

COVID SAFETY
Spectators encouraged to read the Sunshine Coast Stadium’s conditions of entry to make the most of the game day experience and learn what can’t be brought into the venue. Please also visit the Queensland Government website for information on current COVID-19 restrictions.
Only bags under A4 size can be brought into the venue, and there will be no cloak room facilities available. The venue will also be cashless.
