Round 25 Match Highlights: Roosters vs Raiders
Coming up against the Canberra Raiders - who needed a win to qualify for the finals - the Tricolours were equally motivated to claim a victory in Mackay on the eve of the semis.
The Roosters overcame an early deficit to hit back in the windy conditions with Matt Ikuvalu and Angus Crichton crashing over, with late points to Adam Keighran through a try and a penalty goal giving the side a handy 20-12 lead at the break.
Drew Hutchison's boot continued to trouble Canberra while Keighran claimed his hat-trick within the first ten minutes of the second stanza, finishing the match with a personal best 20-point haul.

Rookie dummy half Ben Marschke also crossed the line for his maiden try in first grade - much to the delight of his teammates - while Lachlan Lam scored in the dying stages to seal an emphatic 40-16 victory for the men from Bondi.
Club History was created that night as well, with Trent Robinson becoming the first Head Coach to notch 150 victories while also becoming the longest-serving coach since 1908, holding a 64.8% winning ratio since first taking the mantle in 2013.
The win also saw the three-time Premiership winning coach - second behind only Arthur Halloway - guiding the Roosters to an eighth finals series in nine seasons at the helm.
