Pilot Medical Update Round 5

The Sydney Roosters squad has been assessed by Club medical staff following Friday's Round 5 match against the Brisbane Broncos.

Siosiua Taukeiaho was withdrawn prior to the match with minor calf tightness but will return to full training this week.

Nat Butcher was taken from the field in the second half of the match for a Head Injury Assessment (HIA) and was unable to return to the field. He has commenced the NRL's HIA protocol. 

Egan Butcher and Ben Thomas are both progressing throughout their respective rehabilitation in their bid to return to the field. 

There were no other injury concerns for the players that featured in the match.
