Three Roosters Confirmed in Extended NSW Origin Squad

New South Wales Coach Brad Fittler has named three Roosters in his 22-man squad set to face Queensland in Origin I on Wednesday week.

Sydney Roosters captain James Tedesco will lead the Blues as Skipper for the third straight series.

Daniel Tupou has been rewarded for a strong start to the season with his first Origin start since 2020, while young gun Joseph Suaalii has also been named in the extended squad.

The Blues will be looking to retain the Origin shield for the fourth time in five years after a convincing 2-1 series win in 2021.
