Sydney Roosters Members and fans can experience the opening of the Roosters' new home by claiming their tickets to the Opening Day and Night of Allianz Stadium!
With the completion of Allianz Stadium, tickets are available for the free community open Day and Night on Sunday, August 28, headlined by Australian music superstars Guy Sebastian and Baker Boy.
The Allianz Stadium doors will open for the very first time at 11am, highlighted by a meet and greet with Sydney Roosters NRL squad members as well as the chance to take the field and emulate their heroes.
From 5pm, dancers, light shows, large-scale projections and pyrotechnics will grace the turf, highlighted by performances from Sebastian and Baker Boy in what is set to be a night filled to the brim with entertainment.
Just five days later, the Red, White and Blue will line up in their first match at the venue when they take on fierce rivals the South Sydney Rabbitohs in a regular season finale - a match that should not be missed by any Roosters Members or supporters.
Minister for Tourism and Sport Mr Stuart Ayres said the completion of the stadium was a testament to the NSW Government’s commitment to deliver state-changing infrastructure.
“Having a world-class stadium in the heart of a thriving sport, entertainment and hospitality precinct on the cusp of Sydney’s CBD will help ensure our state continues to host the best sporting and entertainment talent in the world,” Mr Ayres said.
“This state-of-the-art venue has the best community and player facilities in the country and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it during our unmissable Open Day and Night.
