With a Dally M Medal, a Coach of the Year, Captain of the Year and Nine Positional Awards, the Sydney Roosters dominated the 2022 Dally M Awards Night.
Backline Trio Headline 2022 NRL Team of the Year
Captain James Tedesco, strike centre Joseph Manu and exciting teenager Joseph Suaalii all claimed positional awards in the 2022 NRL Team of the Year for their outstanding form throughout the season.
The trio combined to score 40 of the side's 115 tries - over one-third of the Roosters' total - and all three provided plenty of match-defining moments throughout the course of the season.
Tedesco claimed his third Dally M Fullback of the Year gong following wins in 2016 and 2019, which saw him lead from the front with 13 tries, 24 appearances, 12 try assists, 169 tackle breaks and a whopping 212 average metres.
In his first full-time season as the Sydney Roosters' Captain, the enigmatic fullback created further history by claiming his fifth consecutive Jack Gibson Medal as the Club's player of the year.
Joseph Manu established himself as one of the best centres in the game in arguably his most consistent season in the Red, White and Blue, playing all but two matches for the Roosters and threatening with each touch of the ball.

Not only did he form a lethal right-side combination with Suaalii, which saw him score 11 tries, assist a further 12, make 13 linebreaks, average 140 metres and break an incredible 145 tackles, but also net the Clubman of the Year Award for his selfless acts both on and off the field.
Backing up from his debut season, Joseph Suaalii was one of the young stars of the NRL in 2022 - rising on a number of occasions both figuratively and literally to take his place as one of the Dally M Wingers of the Year.
From Round 6, 19-year-old staked his place in the Roosters' line up, scoring 15 tries from 19 games - including the 2022 Steggles Try of the Year - while averaging 138 metres with the ball and claiming the Club's Rising Star Award.

McGregor Claims Top Gong as Roosters Reign Supreme
Raecene McGregor created history by becoming the Sydney Roosters' first-ever NRLW Dally M Player of the Year in just her second season with the Club, while also netting the 2022 Dally M Halfback of the Year in the process.
The diminutive halfback was pivotal in the side's 2021 Premiership triumph despite being a late addition to the squad, and her form in the no.7 jersey went to another level in 2022.

McGregor laid on an incredible 10 try assists in the side's five matches - double her closest competitor - which included a four-try haul in the dominant 34-6 Round 3 match against the St George Illawarra Dragons.
The New Zealand Ferns representative guided the Roosters around the park with aplomb, and posed as much a threat with the ball in hand than with her dominant kicking game, averaging 107 metres per match.
In her first season at the Club and upon return from a two-year maternity leave stint, Sam Bremner exploded onto the scene to net the Fullback of the Year award, thanks to her two tries, three try assists, 37 tackle breaks, 6 linebreaks and 147 metres per game.
Centres Isabelle Kelly and Jessica Sergis also netted both Centre of the Year positions, with the pair dominating throughout the regular season, combining for five tries, 11 linebreaks, 70 tackle breaks and averaging 175 and 113 metres per game respectively.

In her first season with the 'c' next to her name, Kelly also claimed the Dally M Captain of the Year award, with her week-to-week leadership guiding the Roosters to an undefeated regular season record which earned the Club's first NRLW Minor Premiership.
Two rookies that built on their debut seasons in Keilee Joseph and Olivia Kernick saw the pair awarded the Dally M Second Row of the Year award after adding plenty of punch to an already threatening forward pack.
Joseph spent the majority of the season in the no.13 jersey, taking over the vacant position with force; averaging 24 tackles per game at a 95.3% efficiency as well as 149 run metres in a great season for the 20-year-old.
After making her State of Origin debut, Olivia Kernick's form transitioned smoothly into season 2022, scoring three tries, making two linebreaks and making 175 total tackles at a 90.7% tackle efficiency.
2022 Dally M NRLW Coach of the Year - John Strange
Head Coach John Strange netted the NRLW Dally M Coach of the Year for 2022, after guiding his side to the semi-finals for a second consecutive season.
Despite losing a chunk of his 2021 Premiership-winning squad, Strange's side continued their momentum from the season into 2022, winning their five regular season matches to remain undefeated and claim the Minor Premiership.
