The Sydney Roosters are pleased to announce the addition of some of the game’s leading players to the Club’s 2023 NRLW squad.
Millie Boyle, Amber Hall and Keeley Davis have all signed with the Roosters.
24-year-old Boyle is a three-time Premiership winner (Brisbane Broncos 2019-2020, Newcastle Knights 2022) who was named the Dally M NRLW Player of the Year in 2021.
Throughout the 2022 season, the powerhouse forward averaged more than 200 running metres en route to leading her side to its maiden Premiership.
Blockbusting forward Amber Hall joins the Roosters from the Brisbane Broncos. A hard-charging runner with strong defence to match, Hall also has skill close to line to score herself or set up those around her.
The 28-year-old has represented the Kiwi Ferns on 10 occasions (2013-2022) and was one of New Zealand’s best at the delayed World Cup played in late 2022. She featured in all five matches and scored tries against France and Cook Islands, leading to her being named a finalist for the 2022 Golden Boot award.
Experienced campaigner Keeley Davis joins the Roosters after five seasons with the St George Illawarra Dragons. The 22-year-old New South Wales State of Origin incumbent has played two games at hooker for the Blues (2021-2022) and has also represented Australia (2019-2022) and the Australia 9s (2019).
“In their own right, Millie, Amber and Keeley are all terrific players and we’re really pleased to welcome players of their calibre and experience to our squad,” said Roosters NRLW Head Coach John Strange.
