The Sydney Roosters are pleased to announce the re-signing of Jessica Sergis, as well as the addition of Tarryn Aiken to the Club’s 2023 NRLW squad.
25-year-old Sergis is among the most decorated players in the short history of the NRLW; alongside her 2021 Premiership ring, her trophy case features a Dally M Medal as well as Golden Boot and RLPA Player of the Year awards. She is also the reigning Dally M Centre of the Year.
A Roosters fan since childhood, the world-class centre has also had success in the representative arena with the Sky Blues and Jillaroos.
Two-time Premiership-winner Tarryn Aiken joins the Roosters after four seasons with the Broncos (2019-2022). Born in Gosford, the 23-year-old plays for the Central Coast Roosters in the Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership.
An Australian Touch Football representative (2019), the skilful five-eighth has also made three appearances for Queensland (2020-2022) and played three Tests for Australia (2022).
“Jess is a key member of our squad and it’s great to welcome her back to the Roosters, just as it is to welcome a player of Tarryn’s calibre to our squad as well,” said Roosters NRLW Head Coach John Strange.
