The Sydney Roosters squad has been assessed by Club medical staff following their Indigenous Round clash with the St George Illawarra Dragons at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.
Brandon Smith will undergo surgery today after sustaining a fractured thumb in Friday’s match, his anticipated recovery period is seven weeks.
There were no injury concerns for any other players that featured in the match.
Meanwhile, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Joseph Manu, Daniel Tupou and Sam Walker are all progressing well in their rehabilitation and are working towards being available for the Roosters’ Round 14 match against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
