Updated NRL Line Up for Round 14 vs Bulldogs

UPDATE: Trent Robinson has trimmed his squad ahead of the Roosters’ Round 14 clash with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at Industree Group Stadium.

Daniel Tupou, Jaxson Paulo and Terrell May have been omitted from the side, which remains as named 1-17. Sandon Smith and Naufahu Whyte remain on the extended bench.

The final line-up will be confirmed one hour prior to kick-off tomorrow at 1:00pm.

The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce the line-up for Sunday afternoon’s clash with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at Industree Group Stadium.

Returning to the Central Coast in style, the Roosters are delighted to invite Members and fans to attend an open training session on Saturday morning as the team prepares to host the Round 14 fixture.

Supporters will also be treated to an action-packed Sunday afternoon, with the NSW Cup teams going head-to-head in a curtain raiser, before the NRL kicks off at 2:00pm.

The Club will celebrate the Central Coast Roosters Andrew Johns Cup Champions as well as the Central Coast contingent of NRLW players throughout the day too.

After bagging 14 tries in 11 appearances for the North Sydney Bears in the NSW Cup competition, Roosters Coach Trent Robinson has called on Junior Pauga to make his Club debut as Sydney Rooster #1217 this weekend.

His inclusion is one of many changes to the line-up, that also features Sitili Tupouniua at lock and Joesph Manu at five-eighth.

James Tedesco will return from Origin duties for NSW to lead his team at fullback on Sunday, with Corey Allan and Pauga on the wings. Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii and Billy Smith round out the back line as the centre pairing.

Manu will reunite with Luke Keary in the halves after recovering from an ankle injury, while Jared Waerea-Hargreaves will also make his return at prop after being ruled out of the Roosters’ Round 12 match due to a pectoral muscle strain.

Jake Turpin will start at hooker, with Lindsay Collins also backing up from Origin to line-up in the front row.

The back row consists of Egan and Nat Butcher, while Tupouniua will wear the no.13 jersey in the absence of Victor Radley.

Drew Hutchison, Nathan Brown, Angus Crichton and Matt Lodge have been named on the interchange bench, with Daniel Tupou as the 18th man. Sandon Smith, Jaxson Paulo, Terrell May and Naufahu Whyte complete the line-up on the extended bench.
