NRL Line Up for Round 22 vs Broncos

The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce the Round 22 line-up to take on the Brisbane Broncos at The Gabba this Thursday night.

Set for a 7:50pm kick-off, the Roosters and Broncos will go head-to-head for the first time at the venue, with Suncorp Stadium unable to be used during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

This week, the Roosters, along with the NRL, celebrate the involvement of Women in League – paying homage to the staff, volunteers, officials and fans that dedicate countless hours to make the game and broader rugby league community greater for all.

Head Coach Trent Robinson has listed a similar squad to the one that overcame the Titans last week, with just one change.

Victor Radley returns to the line-up after being ruled out of last week’s clash with hamstring tightness, his inclusion sees Nathan Brown revert to the interchange bench and Siua Wong shuffle to the extended bench.

Fresh off a City Index fan-voted Player of the Match performance, James Tedesco will lead the Tricolours at fullback again this week. Daniel Tupou and Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii line-up on the wings with Billy Smith and Joseph Manu in the centres.

Luke Keary and Sandon Smith will continue their combination in the halves, while Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Brandon Smith and Lindsay Collins make up the front row.

Egan and Nat Butcher will feature in the second row, with Radley rounding out the starting side at lock.

The interchange bench includes Jake Turpin, Brown, Terrell May and Fletcher Baker. Corey Allan, Wong, Drew Hutchison, Fetalaiga Pauga and Dylan Napa complete the squad on the extended bench.
