Pilot Medical Update: Round 22

The Sydney Roosters NRL squad has been assessed by Club medical staff following their Round 22 clash with the Brisbane Broncos.

Egan Butcher was taken from the field in the 11th minute of the match for a Head Injury Assessment (HIA) and was unable to return. He has commenced early phase rehabilitation in line with the Club’s return-to-play protocols and will have a review with an independent consultant later this week.

There were no injury concerns for the remainder of players that featured in the match.

Angus Crichton is no longer wearing his knee brace and has commenced the next phase of his MCL rehabilitation. Sam Walker will return to on-field rehabilitation this week.

Paul Momirovski is progressing his contact load in the gym and on-field as he continues to rehabilitate his shoulder. Connor Watson is also continuing his on-field rehabilitation.

Naufahu Whyte (knee) and Sitili Tupouniua (neck) are continuing their respective rehabilitations under the guidance of Club medical staff.
