The Sydney Roosters are delighted to announce that the Club has extended its partnership with Mabel Park State High School until the end of 2027.
As the search for emerging talent continues, Head of Pathways Blake Cavallaro has established a strong connection between the Club and the Logan City-based school, with NRLW stars Keilee Joseph and Otesa Pule proud products of the affiliation.
The partnership started in 2020, when Joseph flew from Queensland to Sydney each week to participate in the Roosters Tarsha Gale program, where Mabel Park SHS worked with Cavallaro to ensure the rising star met her academic requirements while pursuing a professional football career.

Not only does the partnership provide unparalleled opportunities for young athletes to develop their skills, it also allows Mabel Park SHS coaching staff to expand their expertise through regular interaction with Roosters pathways coaches.
NRLW Vice-Captain Corban Baxter recently attended the school to meet with students and discuss her journey to playing professional football before assisting the team at training to in their Grand Final preparation.
The hard work of players and staff was rewarded last week, with the Year 11/12 Girls team taking out the prestigious Titans Female School Competition Title with a massive comeback victory over Ipswich.
Head of Programme – Girls Rugby Excellence, Chace Carey, expressed his appreciation to the Club for their ongoing support of the school’s rugby league pathway.
“I would like to personally thank the Sydney Roosters for their investment into our school and programme, as it has allowed our coaching staff to grow in experience and provided opportunities for our students to further grow in their capacity as Rugby League player,” he said.
