The Sydney Roosters NRL squad has been assessed by Club medical staff following their Round 25 clash with the Parramatta Eels.
James Tedesco was taken from the field in the 61st minute of the match for a head injury assessment (HIA) and was unable to return.
He has commenced early-phase rehabilitation in line with the Club’s return to play protocols and will meet with an independent doctor for further review this week.
There were no injury concerns for the remainder of players that featured in the match.
Jared Waerea-Hargreaves was a late withdrawal from Friday’s game with acute neck pain. The forward will undergo continual assessment with Club medical staff in the lead up to Round 26.
On Sunday, Jake Turpin was taken from the field for a HIA in the Bears’ NSW Cup match and was unable to return. He has also commenced early-phase rehabilitation in line with the Club’s return to play protocols.
Egan Butcher and Naufahu Whyte have resumed full team training after recovering from their respective injuries. Both forwards will be available for selection for the Roosters upcoming clash with the Tigers.
Sitili Tupouniua (neck), Paul Momirovski (shoulder) and Connor Watson (knee) are continuing their respective rehabilitations under the guidance of Club medical staff.
