NRL Line Up for Round 26 vs Tigers

The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce the line-up for Saturday’s Round 26 clash with the Wests Tigers at Allianz Stadium.

Members and supporters will be treated to an action-packed Saturday afternoon, with the ladder-leading NRLW team taking on the Tigers before the NRL match kicks off at 5:30pm.

At the conclusion of the NRL fixture, attendees can step onto the hallowed Allianz Stadium turf and join in on the action as the Club celebrates it’s loyal, 20,000-strong Membership base!

This week’s match day partner is the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest, which is celebrated during the final home game of every season.

The Steggles Roosters Charity Nest sees Roosters major partner Steggles donate $1,000 for every point the Roosters win by, with the Club also contributing $250 per point.

The Roosters’ results over the last fortnight have seen the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest exceed the $5 million mark, taking the total amount raised to an incredible $5,038,262 since 2010!

Funds raised are dedicated to supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation, Children’s Cancer Institute and Children’s Hospital Foundation Queensland.

Be sure to keep your eyes peeled around the precinct for ticket sellers this Saturday, with a 50-50 charity raffle helping raise further funds for the worthy cause!

Trent Robinson has listed a number of changes to the line-up, highlighted by Sam Walker’s inclusion at halfback after the 21-year-old recovered from an ACL sprain sustained earlier in the season.

Golden Boot winner Joseph Manu slots into the fullback position after James Tedesco was ruled out with a concussion. Corey Allan comes into the squad to fill the empty spot in the centres.

The remainder of the back-line sees Daniel Tupou and Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii take their place on the wings and Billy Smith retain the number 3 jersey.

Stepping into the Captain role, Luke Keary will partner Walker in the halves this Saturday, while fellow Skipper Jared Waerea-Hargreaves is set to make his return from acute neck pain in the front row alongside Brandon Smith and Lindsay Collins.

Siua Wong, Nat Butcher and Victor Radley complete the starting side in the back row.

Sandon Smith, Fletcher Baker, Terrell May and Angus Crichton have been named on the interchange bench, with Drew Hutchison as the 18th player.

Egan Butcher, Zach Dockar-Clay, Fetalaiga Pauga and Naufahu Whyte round out the line-up on the extended bench.

Grab your tickets here and cheer on the Roosters at Allianz Stadium for the final time in 2023!
