The Sydney Roosters came from behind to produce a gutsy 13-12 win over the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at PointsBet Stadium on Saturday evening.
A mid-game switch to the centres did not hinder young forward Siua Wong, who claimed one-try, broke nine tackles, made three offloads and tracked 122 metres from 14 runs to earn himself the Fan-Voted City Index Player of the Match award.
Nat Butcher, Victor Radley and Lindsay Collins also stepped up to give the Roosters an incredible boost in defence, each making over 35 tackles including a couple of try-savers to keep the Tricolours in the game.
