The Sydney Roosters are thrilled to announce that NRLW Captain Isabelle Kelly has re-committed to the Club for a further three years.
In signing a three-year extension, Kelly will remain with the Roosters until at least the end of the 2026 season.
“Isabelle embodies the Roosters' values and commitment to excellence, and her leadership on and off the field is unmatched, so we are delighted that she has extended for a further three years,” said Roosters CEO, Joe Kelly.
27-year-old Kelly, who was named at Centre in the 2023 Dally M NRLW Team of the Year, expressed her excitement about extending with the Roosters.
“I'm incredibly proud to know that I’ll continue to represent the Sydney Roosters for at least the next three years. This Club means so much to me, and I believe we have what it takes to achieve even greater success in the coming years. I can't wait to continue the journey with my amazing teammates and with ‘Strangey’ [NRLW Head Coach, John Strange] and the staff here at the Roosters," said Kelly.
A founding member of the Sydney Roosters NRLW side, Kelly has made 32 appearances in the NRLW competition since its inception in 2018, 30 of those with the Sydney Roosters.
In 2023, Kelly was again a force to be reckoned with on the left edge, scoring five tries, setting up six, and making ten line breaks while averaging an incredible 182 metres per game.
“Isabelle’s leadership and dedication to the team is second to none. She constantly strives to get the best out of not only herself but also those around her, so it’s really exciting to have her re-commit to the Roosters,” said Roosters NRLW Head Coach John Strange.
