24-Hour Update: Round 6 NRL Line Up vs Knights

The side to face the Newcastle Knights at 7:50pm this Thursday night at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle has been trimmed down 24 hours ahead of kick-off. 

Players 1-19 have been retained, with Benaiah Ioelu, Hugo Savala and Siua Wong dropping out of the side.

The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce the line up for the Round 6 clash against the Newcastle Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle. 

Members and supporters will be treated to a double-header, with the NSW Cup side set to face the Knights prior to the NRL match at 5:20pm.

A number of changes to last week's line up have been made, with Joseph Manu taking place for James Tedesco at fullback, and Junior Pauga taking the wing spot vacated by Dominic Young.

Connor Watson comes into the halves for Sam Walker, with Luke Keary named in the no.7 jersey, while Zach Dockar-Clay is set to become Sydney Rooster #1230 from the interchange bench. 

Youngsters Lewis Murphy (winger), Benaiah Ioelu (hooker) and Hugo Savala (halfback) come into the extended squad following strong performances for the Club's NSW Cup side

Michael Jennings, Sydney Rooster #1131, has been named to play his 300th NRL match. A member of the 2013 Premiership-winning side, Jennings has played 72 games to date for the Roosters.

Luke Keary and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves will captain the side.
